I wanted to keep the original soft glow instead of using LED replacements. I replaced all the cartridge-style lamps, even though a couple were still working. The grain-o-wheat bulbs were OK in my unit,. I put the unused new and still-good old bulbs back in the little zip-loc bag and taped it inside to the rear panel of my 2220b for any future need.
